Arrahman Arraheem Network’s Efforts to Project the Positive Image of Pakistan and Islam Lauded at Pakistan’s Independence Day Celebration
We must prove through our behaviour and character that through sincerity, dedication and honesty we can contribute for the benefit of our country in all situations and under any circumstances. -Babar Chaudhry
TO CELEBRATE the 61st Independence Day of Pakistan, a Parade was held at the Toronto’s City Hall on 16th August in which a large number of diplomats, politicians, dignitaries, media personnel and general public participated enthusiastically. As in the previous years, Arrahman Arraheem Network was present to cover the entire event, talk with the people and share their views and feelings.
While speaking with the people the team of Arrahman Arraheem Network emphasised that as Canadian and Pakistani it is our duty and responsibility that while remaining law-abiding citizens work towards improving the image of Pakistan and our Deen, Islam. We should never do or say anything which hurts or damages the name of our country and our Deen.
While giving the message on the significance of the day through video conference, Mr Babar Chaudhry the founder of Arrahman Arraheem Network said, that as we celebrate another Independence Day all of us must analyse how much and what have we achieved since the last year. How strong has our community become? What more needs to be done as our strength increases with the arrival of new immigrants? Have we become involved in the mainstream activities and are we using our voting rights to bring change in policies to solve our problems and concerns? Mr. Chaudhry urged all “to once again pledge to rid ourselves from hatred, discrimination, sectarianism, greed, selfishness, lack of faith and to make a fresh start from today. We should appreciate the blessing of Allah (SWT) which He has given us in the shape of Pakistan”. He extolled all to focus more on education, knowledge and technology in order to enhance the name of Pakistan. He further said that we must prove through our behaviour and character that through sincerity, dedication and honesty we can contribute for the benefit of our country in all situations and under any circumstances.
